Altered Lying: You decided that you didn’t want to go to work on Monday morning. You may have had a long weekend of actives, and you didn’t feel like going into work , and you tell your boss at the office that your car is broken down, and I have no means of getting to work today you told him, but your boss didn’t realized that you took the battery out of the car, making the car broken down, Of course, your car can’t run with out a battery, but in reality your car is not out of order, you are. You know what I call this? Creative lying The scribes tell us that all liars will have their part in the lake of fire (Revelation 21:8) But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. Remember when you told your boss your car broke down you didn’t just lie to your boss, but you have lied to the Lord. Let’s recall the story of Ananias and Sapphira on their offering they promise to give to the church. (Acts 5:1-4) 1: But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession, 2: And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles' feet. 3: But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? 4: Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God. We must keep his commandments, you will not able to enter the gates of glory (Revelation 22:14,15) Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. 15: For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. We have made a promise to Jesus Christ that we would walk in the newness of our lives for the Lord in truth. (Colossians 3:9,10) Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; 10: And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: If we lie with one another then the truth is not in us. Tell the truth and the truth will make you free. (John 8:32) And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
