Declaration of Faith
We Believe:

1. The Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative written Word of God, and it should serve as the sole foundation for Christian teachings. It is the ultimate authority for salvation and every area of the Christian life and must therefore be faithfully followed. (James 1:21-22: 2 Timothy 3:15,16; 2 Peter 1:20-21).

2. There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. God the Father manifested Himself in the flesh through His Son, Jesus Christ, by His Holy Spirit. Jesus is God revealed in human form, and the Spirit is God expressed through spiritual activity and manifestation.  (Gen 1:2; John 14:9; I Cor 8:6; Eph 4:6; I Tim 3:16, 1 John 4:13).

3. In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious, atoning death, bodily resurrection, and ascension to the right hand of the Father as the Intercessor. (Isaiah 7:14; Romans 8:34; Acts 1:10).

4. That all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ. ( Rom 3:23, Eph 2:8-9, Rom 5:8-11, Romans 10:9-10). + (1 John 5:10; Romans 10:13-15).

5. In the sanctifying power of the Holy Ghost subsequent to the new birth, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life. (Hebrews 12:14; 1 Peter 1:15,16).

6. We believe that God’s standard for Christians is to live a holy life inwardly and outwardly, as not to bring reproach among our Lord and Savior. We are to worship in Spirit and in truth. (col 1:22; Matt 22:37-40, II Cor 7:1, John 4:24, I Cor 12:7-11, I Cor 1:7).

7. We believe in the baptism with the Holy Ghost in the speaking with tongues as the Spirit gives utterance according to Acts 2:4 can be given to believers with a clean heart who ask for it.

8. We believe that God will supply the saints with Gifts of the Spirit and that every believer has the privilege of coveting and exercising the spiritual gifts for the edifying of the church, including healing, and are for the church today according to (1 Corinthians 12; Matt 22:37-40, II Cor 7:1, John 4:24, I Cor 12:7-11, I Cor 1:7).

9. Water baptism by immersion and all who repent should be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost (Matthew 28:19).

10. Lord’s supper and washing of feet

11. In the premillennial second coming of Jesus. First, to resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living saints to Him in the air. Second, to reign on the earth a thousand years.

12. In the bodily resurrection; eternal life for the righteous, and eternal punishment for the wicked.

13. marriage is between a man and a woman and is an inseparable union that no one is to put asunder, until death do they part.

14. No man nor woman was made for their same kind.
